Sourced from Jeju Island, South Korea, the extract is made using only the locally grown Centella Asiatica plant and is 100% plant-based. The extract includes active ingredients that improve overall skin health and is suitable for all skin types. Given the formulation, the extract can be used in a number of ways - as a toner, mist, homemade mask, or mixed with other products.
-Calms redness and inflammation of skin
-Improves skin tone and hyperpigmentation, especially after a breakout
-Boosts skin elasticity
Centella Asiatica Extract(95%) - Also known as Gotu Kola or Tiger Grass, it works as an antioxidant that is effective in reducing post-inflammatory hyper-pigmentation. It helps in soothing redness, inflamed and irritated skin with its antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties.
As a Toner - After cleansing your skin, apply the product to your hands or a cotton pad as the first step in skincare. The toner will allow your skin to breathe.
As a Mist - Incorporate the product into a mist bottle and mist as needed throughout the day. Place a small amount of the product into the cream or any other product you were using previously. It is ideal to apply about 5% of the quantity of cream.
DIY Mask - Soak a cotton pad in the extract and apply it to your face, especially in the areas you need concentrated care. After 10 minutes take off the cotton pad and pat in the excess product.
Centella Asiatica Extract (95%), Butylene Glycol, 1,2-Hexaniediol.
I have sensitive acne prone skin and one thing toner combined with vitC serum & klairs midnight blue gel has worked wonders on my skin. It has fairly reduced my breakouts and dark spot . My skin looks healthy and lovely.
Wanted to try the soothing cream but got the Klairs Midnight Blue cream. So thought to try the Centella Extract in toner form. Can see the healing effects already and I like how light it feels. Reduced irritation and no new breakouts so far.
